The lost link to the file happens *after* the fact. It is a result of the
inability to save.
For me it definitely looks as if the only cause for the bug we have found so far
is "cleaning" the temp folder while OOo is running. Unfortunately there is no
fix for that so all we can say here is: don't do it!
Until no other potential root cause is found we can't do anything here.
