Hi rainerbielefeld,

Let me list the steps to reproduce.
1. Open writer.
2. Go to 'Tools > Option > Language Settings > Language'.
3. Enable 'Enabled for Asian Languages' checkbox.
4. Go to 'Format > Character' with no selected string.
5. Change the defulat latin font to another _latin font_. You can see that
previewed string has been updated and can check what it looks like.
6. Change the defualt Asian font to another Asian font. No preview string is
displayed for the changed Asian font and you can not check what it looks like.

As jeongkyu mentioned, it's inconvinient for Asian user.
I think he suggest to display both latin font sample and Asian font sample in
preview box.
