------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 23 04:11:12 -0800 2007 ------- In Writer, there's a field that displays the total amount of time spent for the document. However the suggested formats to display it are all "time" formats, not "duration" formats. Actually there's no format for durations. The problem becomes obvious when you've spent more than 12:59:59 on a document. Then the duration is displayed, depending on the selected format, in odd ways. If you had selected HH:MM:SS, everything above 24 hours is silently ignored (that is you see the remainder). Therefore I suggest to introduce formats for durations. An obvious format might be (optional parts in []): [[[[3 years, ]12 weeks, ]7 hours, ]9 minutes, and ]17 seconds But in a first step, counting and displaying days would be OK: "2640 days and 07:09:17"... You get the idea. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
