------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 23 11:48:18 -0800 2007 ------- This may relate to some other bug reports, but I could find nothing that is a direct duplicate. Both simpress and swriter appear to manifest this. You should be able to reproduce this in the following way: 1) open a document and go to tools->options and click on Java - I have several runtimes available so it takes a little while but in my case properly identifies three available runtimes 1.6.0 , 1.5.0_10 and 1.4.2_12. The default in my case is 1.6.0 but I do not believe the exact default/choice here matters. In my case I can click cancel at this point. 2) exit the document - OO will hang for minutes and eventually segfault: /opt/openoffice.org2.1/program/soffice: line 236: 10243 Segmentation fault "$sd_prog/$sd_binary" "$@" This exit problem will persist for any future documents in both swriter and simpress until the Xserver is restarted. In my case I am running a RHEL4 knockoff (scientific linux 4.4) and the xserver is xorg with the nv driver. This is probably a mixture of OO and the OS so resolution is no doubt complicated but it appears very reproducible so I felt compelled to report it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
