------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 23 12:23:17 -0800 2007 ------- This behaviour is totally at variance with the way the Writer works!!! Doing things the way you suggest is impractical. Using my example, that means that each line has to be in a text box of its own. Then each box has to be aligned both vertically and horizontally manually. Currently, as far as I know, there is no way of aligning objects in Impress. Also, aligning text is a notoriously difficult thing to do because of leading, kerning, line spacing, and font style and size, to name a few. This feature has to be implemented in the same way as Writer does it for the feature to be practical and useful. BTW, I use the Format Paintbrush feature very heavily -- more often than almost other features. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
