------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jan 25 07:08:51 -0800 2007 ------- * set cell format to: "00.00000000000000" in order to see the error * type in a cell: "=2701.20030000000000-2701.00000000000000" * The result is "0.20029999999997" and it should be EXACTELY 0,2003 To my mind, this bug is really critical and can conduce to really dangerous errors. For example, in association with the function DATE(), we noticed that it could induce day, month or even year errors. Moreover, as the cell formatting is most of the time "0.00" you don't even see the error approximation along the transformation chain, and it is only by the date calculation that you get for example year 2002 instead of 2003. So really critical!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
