------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jan 25 09:57:00 -0800 2007 ------- This issue was not reproducible. We carried out somee follow up tests on OOo 2.0.3 on the following configurations separately: On Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz with 1GB RAM running - 1. Linux 2.6.9-42.0.3.EL.CSE.smp #1 SMP i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux 2. MS Windows XP Pro Ver. 2002 (SP2) The follow up tests were: 1. Created multiple ODT documents with OOo and changed properties of each document via File->Properties.... These documents were then saved. All instances of OOo were closed. These documents were reopened one by one and the File->Properties option were selected AFTER all the files were opened. There were no problems and all the previous properties as set showed up. 2. Tested the above with multiple ODS documents on OOc. 3. Created an ODT and an ODS file separately using OOo and OOc respectively. Next, I set for each file separately ONE property. Selecting File->Properties... shows the properties dialog for that document. Next, select the 'Description' tab and enter any text in the 'Comments' textfield. Save files and close them. After this, via Notepad or any other text editor opened the previously created files and deleted some arbitrary characters/text (Of course, the characters will be a jumble of ascii characters). Save the files. Reopen the files in OOo and OOc respectively. The respective recovery popup is shown. Select 'yes' to repair. After the repair, select File->Properties... again. There was no LOCK-UP of OOo and OOc. Except the 'Comments' of the documents were reset duing recovery as could be expected. If this issue could be reproduced, then it is a serious defect since choosing File->Properties... causes OOo and OOc to freeze forcing the user to kill the process and restart with potential loss of work. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
