2.) You may expect it but your expectation is false ! If you select a single row
or a part of a row and select Data-Filter-Autofilter, you define only this
selection as the area to be filtered. If you also choose to use the first line
as header, you get this behaviour which is totally correct. You've decided to
make it this way. Each and every filter needs a so called databaserange. If you
define a range from only one row with the first (and only) line as header, there
is nothing you can filter.
3.) It's the same as above. One Row or part of the row selected defines the
filter only for the *selection*. All lines lying under this line can't be
filtered as thes are not part of the database range name which is automatically
created for the filter. If you select A1:E4 and apply the Autofilter it will
work as you expect.
Closing again as invalid.
