BUT in some languages, e.g. in Russian & Belarusian, a normal paragraph can start with a dash (if it is direct speech), so it can be useful to have possibility to switch off the automatic hyphen/dash transformation, but leave the automatic asterisk transformation (and possibly make such behavior default for some languages), e.g. by introducing suboptions of the discussed option. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
