It's not even necessary to have a sub form. Just have a form for a large-enough
table, so that upon initially opening the form, the record count in the
navigation toolbar is not final. Then continuously travel to the next record. As
soon as a new "record count" is printed in the navigation toolbar, it overwrites
the previous count, without clearing the space, which leads to screen garbage as
shown in the attached screen shot.
