I'm using FC6 (32-bit system) and OOo 2.1 (from the OOo website). I have a large
document (about 350 pages) with 90 figues (all in frames). After previewing or
printing or just about doing anything, I find that 3 or 4 pictures (inserted
into frames and having the contents locked), are missing. The caption has moved
from below where the pic used to be and is now at the top of the frame. If I
click where the pic used to be, an outline appears and I can open the picture
panel. The thumbnail of the pic shows up in the picture panel but the picture is
GONE for good. I have to re-insert from older versions of the documents. I'm
embedding the documents (not linking them). This makes it very difficult to use
OOo for serious work. This has happened on at least 3 separate occassions in the
last 3 weeks.
