------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Feb 4 23:28:33 +0000 2007 ------- OpenOffice Writer will no longer open. I didn't do anything with my computer different than usual. In addition, it does not open any saved OO Writer documents or other word processing documents. All I get is an error report that says: "soffice.BIN has encountered a problem and needs to close. We're sorry for any inconvenience." I redownloaded OpenOffice 2.1 from the website. That has not solved the problem either. Here is some additional info regarding the error report: AppName: soffice.bin AppVer: 1.9.9090.500 ModName: imm32.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 0001aadc In addition, after I close the error report I get a ZoneAlarm Security Alert which states "DrWatson Postmortem Debugger is tryng to communicate with \SystemRoot\System32\smss.exe by opening its process" Why is this happening? What should I do to be able to open my Writer files? How do I prevent this from happening? Is this problem unique to Writer? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
