The current behavior is as specified in the spec document
FlexibleSourceRangeSelection
(http://specs.openoffice.org/chart/dataselection/FlexibleSourceRangeSelection.odt)
and is so far committed on by the iTeam of that spec.
BTW, MS Excel 2003 behaves the same way (i.e. the closer of the small window
does not close the entire dialog, but only the little window).
