2007 -------
Installed OO 2.1. 2.1 properly converts a 27 MB file on which 2.0 "loses"
photos, but both versions "lose" 5 of the 6 photos in a 5 MB file, which I've
emailed to MRU for confidentiality rather than attach it here. There is a
small probability that the 27 MB file now converting properly is due to a
Windows 98 update rather than to switching from OO 2.0 to 2.1. I now observe
(can't say whether this was true with 2.0) that the picture in the saved file
is not "lost" but shrunk to a point, and can be stretched back out to normal
size for display when the file is reopened. Saving again as a doc file does
the same thing again.
I've changed the Summary from "Long files lose photos when saved as doc"
to "Photos shrunk to a point in some files saved as doc", and the Version to
2.1. I've designated this as P2 priority, since it prevents using the product
to produce doc files for some documents.
