The parentheses around the strings are missing (and all the other DSC text
values have the same problem). The title is already being "ASCII"-fied by
converting it to ASCII_US encoding - which probably results in lots of "?" for
characters that are not encodable in that encoding. The only viable alternative
would be UTF-7 since we produce 7-bit clean Ascii; this is not more readable,
but at least will not lose information.
