Did I understand correctly: the problem soves temporarily when you restart your PC. Then you remove the OO Quickstarter from systemtray and it does not Work anymore. How did you remove the quickstarter? Are only Writer files affected or isn't it possible to open Spreadsheet or Impress files either?
