Hi,
there is no difference except that not the border has to be used but you can d&d
the whole range/cell if it is selected by placing the mouse cursor into the
selected area and hold the left mouse key pressed.
So I close this one as wfm. Used OOo1.1.4 and OOo1.9.79 to check.
