------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Feb 15 11:44:22 +0000 2007 ------- Attempt to import 52 column table by cut'n'paste from Calc causes crash. 1st attempt crashed when attempting to allow importer to automatically detect field type 2nd attempt, set all field types manually, all text and with nominal width, except for one memo field. Table appeared to be created but crashed when I opened it. 3rd attempt, cut out some fields, including memo field. Same result as 2nd attempt. Crash recovery seemed to work OK, except when I hit "next" in order to proceed to crash report phase, it restarted OOo and did not continue with the reporting dialog. Since I'm new at this I wasn't sure how to proceed (I know this is two issue's in one ... but they're likely related). Will supply crash log and offending files to private email channel.
