It's important to open the Options TabPage Writer/General and then to switch to
the Language setting.
Changing the language initiates a Reformat at the MetricFormatter and that
recalculates the value and seems to ignore the decimal digits and changes the
value of the default tab stop MetricField to 99.99 cm.
