2007 -------
Works fine here with 2.1 (on two machines) and 2.2m5 (all 3 on WinXP) -
changes to "Recent documents" list are retained over reboot.
I think there is some corruption in user profile. To confirm please close OO
(including quickstarter) and rename OpenOffice.org2 folder in "x:\documents
and folders\USERNAME\application data\". Then retry your experiment and post
the result.
