------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 20 16:45:27 +0000 2007 ------- >From Simon in Germany via email: "it seems the fglrx driver from ATI causes some programs to not work anymore (often "floating point exception"). If I start X.org with another driver (e.g. radeon) everything works fine." Thank you Simon! Indeed, I'm using the proprietary fglrx driver. I will wait for the problem to appear again and then trace and then switch to radeon open source driver and report back, keeping in mind that the problem was sporadic thus it will take a few days to get a feel for if this is indeed the cause. My feeling is that it is fglrx because I found that when openoffice won't load, neither will MyPasswordSafe. I will do the trace if it fails again. So far no luck. Still running fglrx. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
