------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 3 01:32:43 -0800 2005 ------- - open an arbitrary database document based on a database which requires authentication - Edit|Database|Properties - enter a valid user name, and check the "needs password" box - press the "Test connection" button => a login dialog opens - enter a wrong password, and press OK => an error message appears saying that the connection could not be established (which is okay) - dismiss the properties dialog with OK - View|Objects|Tables => an error message appears saying that the connection could not be established It seems that the application remembered the wrong password which you just entered in the dialog.
