------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 3 02:13:50 -0800 2005 ------- Hi, no, it doesn't work well. Think of a 32-bit (i386) system with a 64-bit kernel (x86_64) - which is perfectly valid and possible. What would uname give? right. x86_64 -> wrong. And see the initial submit of this issue; if everything was well (hint: there is not only x86 for Linux...) Jim would not need to file an issue ;) Anyway, I did test it and it configured fine (didn't build though at that time because I had a mismatch between office and SDK wrt ms and there apparently was some change ;). It shouldn't affect anything wrt building, though. As vq already said, it's a straighforward replacement and *will* work for all UN*X-like systems.. I don't want to do a completely new build again, really. I have other cwsws too which needs complete builds...
