The feature is already there. Insert a 'No-width optional break' in your very
long word. You get it with Insert -> Formatting Mark or with short cut STRG+/.
You must get the / without shift on you keyboard, for example use the numpad. If
you do not find the entry in Insert -> Formatting Mark, then goto Tools ->
Options -> Language Settings -> Languages and enable 'Enhanced Language
Support'.
