------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 27 14:17:44 +0000 2007 ------- When trying to access via odbc to an external DB (I tried microsoft sql server or postgres) I can't change schema or db from the Tools/Table Filter dialog. It allows just to see the 'public' schema in postgres and the ODBC defined DB for MS Sql server. If I try with sdbc it works so I suppose it's a problem on the openoffice -> MDAC layer. To reproduce this, create a schema in postgresql, called 'foo' so you will have two schemas 'public' and 'foo', create a new odbc connection in your windows odbc manager. open openoffice base select to link an existing db, ODBC, then choose the postgresql odbc entry you previously created, write username and password, then from oo base program you can see on "tables" tab all the 'public' schema tables, now choose Tools/Table Filter and you can see just the 'public' schema not the 'foo' one. Environment: windows XP SP2 / Windows Nt 4.0 SP 6a OO 2.1 italian version with jre MDAC version (?) 2.81 I'm not sure on how to get this:) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
