The defect cause is that information about the numbering level, the restart of the numbering and the restart value are lost by performing the core function, which is also trigger by function "Menu - Default Formatting". Open the attached document <testdoc.odt> in OOo 2.0.1 or later, set cursor in paragraph D and perform "Menu - Default Formatting" --> Paragraph is moved to list level 1 and lost the numbering restart attributes.
