2007 -------
Insert a custom shape. 
Type any text inside the shape (say, "TEST")
Make the shape 3D (extrude).
Click on the shape and rotate it.
The text leaves the shape and "floats" in the air.
At this point, there is no apparent connection between the shape and the text.
It should have rotated along with the face on which it was entered.
