The difference in the data origin of the two systems seems to be fairly standard so it was probably corrected without making much of a fuss. Unfortunately I cannot try the latest developer release of Open Office. For the moment I'm stuck with the version suplied under SuSE 10.0. My system will be upgraded later this year (when SuSE 10.0 is no longer supported) - hopefully with the latest stable version of OpenOffice. I'll test again then. Thanks for your help.
