------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 20 07:32:36 +0000 2007 ------- Hi Obviously, I have made my first contact with Styles in order to achieve page numbering different for the two parts of document. I thought I could just set cursor position to the needed page, run the Stylist, and select the style for the page. However, it dosen't work this way, while it works for other style types -e.q. You can simply assign a style to selected area of text. The behaviour of Stylist is inconsistent, non-intuitive and confusing. One should be able to just point the page and set the style. For now, the only way is to insert the page break from menu (Ctrl-enter is not sufficient) and select the style FOR THE NEXT PAGE (not the actual one) in the window. This is annoying. I understand the need for page break in order to exactly border the area, since the usual text pages are fuzzy and the style needs the exact point, from-to where it should be applied. However where they already ARE ordinary page breaks (Ctrl-Enter) in the text, the Stylist should automatically accept them as regular borders for page style purposes. So that if I put cursor on page and select a style for the page, Stylist should assign the style for the current page and all pages before and after, until it gets to the near page break (or start of document) before the actual page, and near page break (or document end) after the actual page. If I select more pages, it should assign the style to all pages included in selection, and in pages before the selection until page break (or document start) is reached, and after the selection until page break (or document end) is reached. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
