Please do not mix up "OLE cache" and "Undo buffer", both are different parts of
the memory management.
The OLE cache size specifies the amount of OLE objects which are allowed to be
kept in memory at the same time. This could tweak the performance while
scrolling through a document containing multiple OLE objects such as OOo Math
formulas.
The Undo buffer stores last steps of work you did on your document and which you
are able to "Undo".
The first problem you mentioned was about the OLE cache and the performance
problem you mentioned is a "feature" ;-) because the user is able to specify the
amount of objects in memory by himself.
Regarding the second problem, I suggest to file a new issue, because it touches
a different area than initially described. This issue here will get too
inconvenient with these loads of information.
In the new issue please attach the necessary files to reproduce the undo problem
and described the process shortly. Thanks for your patience.
