------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 27 12:22:22 +0000 2007 ------- Hello, I am having trouble trying to get the spellchecker for Tagalog (Philippines) to work under MS WindowsXP. I first tried to install it manually by downloading the zipped file and unzipping it in the same folder /ooo/ that contains the working dictionaries etc. I edited the contests of dictionary.lst to include the line DICT tl PH tl_PH Unfortunately there was nary a sign of Tagalog or Ohilippines when I went to >>>Writing Aids. Not to be deterred I downloaded PackFull_v2 and having deleted my previous efforts used the Wizard from within OpenOffice.org v2.1.0. Again nary a sign when I went to writing aids. Still not to be deterred I downloaded and installed OpenOffice.orgRC4 after deleting the previous version. Still nary a sign of Tagalog when I finally went to Writing Aids. The listing below shows the last result after using the Wizard. Contents of Dictionary.lst # List of All Dictionaries to be Loaded by OpenOffice # --------------------------------------------------- # Each Entry in the list have the following space delimited fields # # Field 1: Entry Type "DICT" - spellchecking dictionary # "HYPH" - hyphenation dictionary # "THES" - thesaurus files # # Field 2: Language code from Locale "en" or "de" or "pt" ... # # Field 3: Country Code from Locale "US" or "GB" or "PT" # # Field 4: Root name of file(s) "en_US" or "hyph_de" or "th_en_US # (do not add extensions to the name) THES cs CZ th_cs_CZ_v2 HYPH da DK hyph_da_DK HYPH de AT hyph_de_DE DICT de AT de_AT THES de AT th_de_DE_v2 HYPH de CH hyph_de_DE DICT de CH de_CH THES de CH th_de_CH_v2 HYPH de DE hyph_de_DE DICT de DE de_DE THES de DE th_de_DE_v2 DICT en GB en_GB HYPH en GB hyph_en_GB THES en GB th_en_US_v2 DICT en US en_US HYPH en US hyph_en_US THES en US th_en_US_v2 DICT et EE et_EE HYPH et EE hyph_et_EE DICT hu HU hu_HU HYPH hu HU hyph_hu_HU DICT it IT it_IT HYPH it IT hyph_it_IT DICT nl NL nl_NL HYPH nl NL hyph_nl_NL THES pl PL th_pl_PL_v2 HYPH ru RU hyph_ru_RU THES sk SK th_sk_SK_v2 DICT sw TZ sw_TZ DICT sw KE sw_TZ DICT th TH th_TH # 03/27/2007 01:27:35 # 03/27/2007 01:29:05 DICT tl PH tl_PH # 03/27/2007 02:06:10 # 03/27/2007 02:07:13 # 03/27/2007 02:20:18 # 03/27/2007 02:20:29 # 03/27/2007 02:21:15 # 03/27/2007 02:22:28 Have you any suggestions as to how to access the Tagalog spellchecker?
