It works in a m6 (build 9095) and hangs in a src680_m206 (build 9132) - both on
XP.
As I have not change the sources for the filter, do you know by which version it
broke, so I can compare changes?
Quick debugging reveals nothing, nor does it depend on the use of a different
JDK 5 build 11 vs build 10, which had been exchanged.
