------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Mar 28 14:20:48 +0000 2007 ------- When a Impress (and other OOo) document is exported as pdf, a tag structure can be created for better accessibility of the produced document. An examination of the produced pdf shows that especially an export from Impress has a really bad tag structure. For example there are no separated tags for each slide, enclosing the content of the slides. Every shape seems to be on the same hierachic level. This is really problematic for exported tables. The pdf-format includes a tag for tables. A pdf document generated with powerpoint 2007 is rather well tagged, because it includes slide-tags for each separate slide. Tables are also tagged as tables, allowing clear distinction between table rows and table fields. This issue should have high priority, because of the section 508 in the U.S. as well as other accessibility laws and standards. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
