------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 29 20:58:23 +0000 2007 ------- Cell 'A1' contains the text "foobar". If I have a style that colours a cell red (I've checked that this works by the way), I would assume the following should work: - Format->Conditional Formatting - "Cell value is" "equal to" 'foobar' => cell style = 'red_cell' However, nothing happens. If I change condition 1 to: "Formula is" IF(A1="foobar";1;0) => cell style = 'red_cell' This doesn't work either. Is this a bug, or a limitation of OOo Calc in that it can only perform conditional formatting on numeric cells? FWIW, I'm running OOo calc on FC6: # rpm -qa|grep openoffice|sort openoffice.org-calc-2.0.4-5.5.17 openoffice.org-core-2.0.4-5.5.17 openoffice.org-draw-2.0.4-5.5.17 openoffice.org-graphicfilter-2.0.4-5.5.17 openoffice.org-impress-2.0.4-5.5.17 openoffice.org-math-2.0.4-5.5.17 openoffice.org-writer-2.0.4-5.5.17 openoffice.org-xsltfilter-2.0.4-5.5.17 # Thanks for reading!
