I am starting to implement OpenOffice 2.2 as my word processor. I looked at the
settings for the spell checker and noticed under “Tools > Options > Writing
aids” that check words with numbers was not ticked by default. I decided to
switch it on as there are times when I need to check words and numbers together.
I found to my dismay that if it is on that times and Biblical References are
shown as errors. My example is below 01:04 and 119:123 are flagged as spelling
errors with “Check words with numbers” selected. I would have thought that this
was a bug as a time is not an error in this format. I suspect that the Bible
references error will affect far less people.
