I believe that {=SUM(A1:A200="S")*1} or =ISNUMBER(FIND("S";A1) are NOT a real
solution. They will hardly allow a more complex search.
That said, in what module is COUNTIF() defined?
It would be easy to implement a case-sensitive COUNTIFC(), so NO
Excel-compatibility problem.
