When copying large amounts of text from Writer to Calc (around a 500 page document or more), the entire computer system hangs and is entirely unresponsive. No other program will respond including the KDE taskbar but it is possible to CTRL-ALT-DEL. Upon checking, CPU usage is 100%. The system does free itself but after an extended period of time (15 mins when pasting 1000 page document). The amount of time it takes would cause the average user to reboot the system believing it to be crashed. I can provide the data file which reproduces this hang if required.
