The attached patch replaces the SwInputField with a bookmark based input field.
Missing features of this patch (to name a few, not all):
no real undo, no fly-over-help, no Edit/Field support, no word import,
To be file-format compatible the field must not contain paragraph breaks or
other objects like frames, tables, other fields etc. Character attributes are
also limited to the complete field. These conditions are not handled with the
patch.
Text insertion into the field works only after the first and before the last
character of the field text. (->fme)
