Hi,
not a defect. The file attached is indeed a HTML file. This file contains CSS
Style data which can not be interpreted by Calc for now. So this Issue is an
enhancement for CSS import of HTML files.
To open such non xls files directly with Calc, you may bind .XLS to scalc
instead of soffice.
