------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Mar 5 20:30:10 -0800 2005 ------- When inserting a table if you type a non number character into the field with numbers, the characters will simply be stripped out of the string. Reproduction steps: 1. Open a new writer document. 2. go to Table -> Insert -> Table 3. Enter "1r0" into the row field 4. Hit Enter Result: A table will be created with 10 Rows The user is total unaware that they typed a wrong character, and in this case I meant to type 150 but accidentally typed an r instead of a 5. I would expect that non valid characters would be prevented from being entered or prompt the user when the field looses focus that the value is invalid. WordPerfect creates a system beep and does not enter the invalid character into the field, while Microsoft word informs the user that the entry is invalid when hitting OK or pressing enter key. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
