------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Apr 11 18:45:51 +0000 2007 ------- Lets say I'm editing a detailed drawing, so naturally I'm zoomed in 500%. So I select and copy and object on one side of the page. I want to now paste it at many different positions all over the page. This is a big pain because when I hit ^V, the object is always pasted right on top of the original. This means I have to remember where it is, scroll the screen to that point, pick up the object, try to scroll back to where I want to paste- oops, there is no auto scroll during move, so I have to let the object go, scroll the screen, pick it up again, etc. you get the idea. It would be far better if when I hit ^V, the object ends up on the screen (on the current window), no matter the zoom factor or scrolling position. Better still would be that the object is dropped at the exact mouse pointer position when I hit ^V. Perhaps even better, ^V attaches the object the mouse pointer as if you had picked it up to move it (so you can then position the object, and then click to detach it from the mouse). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
