> With Draw in Word, I can not resize the box.
Isn't that a problem of word?
> With Draw in Write, I can resize the box, but when I open the drawing I always
get a full 8.5 x 11 sheet, not the bounding box I chose in Write.
Perhaps it works not the way do you expect?. If you have double clicked the draw
OLE object and are in edit mode, it has a gray border. That border you can drag
and determine how much of the draw document will be shown in writer, how big the
"hole" is. than use the scroll bars to move that hole over the draw document
page to determine what is to be seen. Only the inside is relevant, not the ruler
or scroll bars.
> If I edit the drawing in either Write or Word it is useless because you can
not zoom the drawing.
You cannot zoom during editing because the size of an OLE-object it set by the
document were it is embedded in. Therefor zoom the writer document (if you need
it temporarily) or drag the green handles of the OLE-object (if you need it
permanently) and then enter editing mode.
I see no defect, but you might point out how the usability can be improved.
Please give an exact description how it should work and only one problem in each
issue. Otherwise an issue cannot be handled and will be closed as invalid.
