BSOD is indication of the fact that something has gone wrong in code running
in protection ring 0, which is OS and drivers.
This makes me think that BSOD is caused by either faulty driver, overheatnig
CPU or failing memory module, as OpenOffice code is running in user mode.
I suggest running hardware diagnostics.
