------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Apr 20 10:23:27 +0000 2007 ------- I also suggest to change this. I don't see double precision on the horizon for 3.0 yet. I agree fully with AW that there is a risk, getting bigger as used page size grow. BUT that is more a technical standpoint. From a user standpoint currently it is worse as he does not have the chance to change the size to what he wants. Even if it may not work at the size he wants he can't even try it. And if there are errors they will not occur for the majority of the users. So my vote is to change the maximum size to something like 100mx100m ASAP and that "should be enough for anyone"(tm) doing banners and stuff. If you like to design your own space ship, for your own sake, buy a CAD application! For everyone who is desperate now, I never happen to have a printer printing more than A3 (maybe except my first C= MPS801 which had unlimited lenght depending on the paper :). But there must be something like 'fit to print'. So if you only get the aspect ratio correct there should be no problem choosing any size that is smaller and later scale it by the printer driver. If you need correct measures, try the scaling feature of draw which you can choose from tools options. The current target of 2.3 seems reasonable as it is the next feature release. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
