DWG import should be very dificult to implement for very few new users. 
This importation is not, for me, the important point, because it is a
proprietary format, it seems dificult to implement, there is some concurence in
the domain of CAD and it sill possible to print out of AutoCAD in SVG or PNG.   

May be, just replacing MS Office (who is "required" to install AutoCAD) as OLE
table editor (Excell incorporation) should be usefull and much simpler to
implement.  It is able to attrack new users who were inprisonned in MSOffice
since they MUST use AutoCAD with Excell table in OLE in it.

But this feature will not be multi-system, of course...
