Issue 76604 was closed as a duplicate of this issue (3997), but I think they are
different. 3997 addresses multiple data sets, while 76604 stated a need for
flexibility in selecting x-axis labels. It is sometimes desirable to have x-axis
label information reside other than in the first column.
If x-axis flexibility is indeed implemented in version 2.3.0 I am unable to find
it.
