I'm now using openoffice-bin 2.2.0 in German on Gentoo Linux. I now don't get an
error message anymore - which might be due to the fact, that "Always create
backup
copy" seems to be a noop... :|

Or maybe I just don't look right. Anyway, what I did: I enabled Tools -> Options
-> Load/Save -> General, I enabled "Always create backup copy". I then opened an
existing file. I modified it a bit. I selected File -> Save.

Result: The old file is overwritten.

Expected result: The old file is overwritten and there should be a new file
"filename.odt~" (or whatever, ~ would be he backup extension of choice on *nix)
in the same directory.
