Hi,
Opening View|Selection:
-the window has the focus;
-tab brings focus to part at bottom,
-enter selects
-Ctrl-Tab toggles between toolbars and windows.
So all works, both with 2.2 op XP and 2.0.3 on Debian.
So apparently has been fixed lately.
Close as fixed.
