Environment:
windows XP SP2 and Windows Nt 4.0 SP 6a
OO 2.1 italian version with jre
MDAC version 2.81
accessing to Sql server 6.5 or postgres 8.1 is the same,
if you want to go to the last record of a table it loads all records in the
table
and this takes several seconds or minutes depending on number of rows..
this makes the component unusable, just try it and you will see,
I don't think is an ODBC/MDAC version dependent problem :/
