2007 -------
I now checked again on 2003 Terminal an XP on VM ware a TrustCenter and Thawte
certificate (as well as a few others). When importing the certificates, I
checked in the "Certificate Import Wizard" the button "Enable strong private key
protection". Then in the dialog "Importing a new private exchange key", I
selected "High" as security level and provided a password. I could sign the
documents with no problem.
